Australian Learning and Teaching Council 

The Fellowship Scheme supports leading educators to undertake a program of strategic, high profile fellowship activities in areas that support the mission of the Australian Learning and Teaching Council.

Through their fellowship program, Fellows explore and address a significant educational issue, develop their personal skills and profile and are ongoing advocates for excellence in learning and teaching.

National Teaching Fellowships

National Teaching Fellowships are awarded to outstanding scholars and respected leaders to  undertake a significant program of fellowship activities, contribute to various ALTC events and develop national and international networks.

Up to five National Teaching Fellowships, worth up to $350,000 each, are available in 2010.

Teaching Fellowships

Teaching Fellowships are awarded to prominent scholars and educators in their disciplinary fields to undertake discipline-based or inter-disciplinary fellowship activities that promote excellence in learning and teaching.

Up to ten Teaching Fellowships, worth up to $100,000 each, are available in 2010.
