University teaching awards ceremony
A feature of Teaching and Learning Month in May, this event:
- announces the winners of the UWA Awards for Excellence in Teaching
- announces UWA nominees for the ALTC Awards for University Teaching
- congratulates winners of the:
- biennial Distinguished Teaching and Learning Award for Schools
- Contributions to Student Learning Awards from non-faculty areas
- Faculty Teaching Awards
- acknowledges postgraduate teaching interns.

Vice-Chancellor’s Annual Celebration of Excellence in Teaching
This ceremony takes place in December and acknowledges:
- the Australian Learning and Teaching Council Award nominees and winners
- ALTC Fellowships and grants
- other achievements in Teaching and Learning, such as grants from the Learning and Teaching Performance Fund.
