The Ancillary Student Fees and Charges Regulating Committee monitors the incidental fees and charges which may be levied by faculties and schools and makes recommendations in accordance with Government and University policy.

Meetings

The Committee meets annually in November and at other times as required.

Roles and responsibilities

  1. The role of the committee is to advise and make recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor and other University bodies or officers, as appropriate, on:
    1. the impact of Government policy on the University's policy and practices with regard to the charging of ancillary student fees and charges
    2. whether fees and charges proposed by the faculties are appropriate within the context of Government policy and University policy on the charging of ancillary fees
  2. monitor the fees and charges incurred by or levied on students by the faculties and schools to ensure that all such fees and charges are acceptable within both Government and UWA policy.
  3. the quorum for a meeting of the Ancillary Student Fees and Charges Regulating Committee is four.
