A number of grants and schemes are available for staff to develop their skills, improve their courses or enhance the learning experience of students.
UWA Strategic schemes
Teaching Fellowship Scheme funds four UWA Fellowships annually, valued at $22,000 each, for staff undertaking projects that support the University's education priorities identified in the Operational Priorities Plan.
Teaching and Learning Development Fund - finances schemes that focus on the education priorities of the Operational Priorities Plan and the Teaching and Learning Management Plan.
Improving Student Learning (ISL) - provides small grants to encourage teachers to make practical and innovative changes to their units to improve current practice.
Postgraduate Teaching Internship Scheme - allows promising doctoral research students (including professional doctoral students) to develop teaching skills and to undertake professional development activities.
