Guidelines

The principal purpose is to enhance the quality of teaching and learning at UWA at either or both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Visitors are expected to engage in a variety of areas, such as:

  • curriculum development methodology
  • scholarship of teaching and learning in a particular discipline or field
  • new approaches to student learning.

Visitors who are primarily coming as researchers, even if undertaking some teaching in their area of research, will not be supported. Although activities of a visitor may include some face-to-face teaching in their discipline, a visitor’s activities should focus clearly on teaching and learning development, improvement and innovation to benefit staff and students, rather than on imparting specialised research knowledge.
