Learning and Teaching Performance Fund Grants (LTPF)

About the Learning and Teaching Performance Fund 

The Fund was announced on 13 May 2003 as part of the Australian Government’s Our Universities: Backing Australia’s Future package of reforms and initiatives.

The Fund aims to reward universities that best demonstrate excellence in undergraduate learning and teaching.

The Department for Education, Science and Training (DEST) provides further information on the LTPF on the Department's website.

Learning and Teaching Performance Fund Grants to UWA

UWA has received grants from the LTPF in both funding years to date, in recognition of the University's excellence in teaching and learning $2.58m was received in 2006 and $4.226m in 2007. Internal allocation of these funds has been at the discretion of the University Executive and distributed University-wide to continue to support the quality of the student learning experience.
