Postgraduate Teaching Internship Scheme

(in accordance with Teaching and Learning Committee Resolutions 23/99, 41/99, 42/99, 34/00, 50/00, 19/01, 17/02, 23/03, 22/04, 43/04, 19/05, 20/05, 40/05)

The Postgraduate Teaching Internship Scheme allows promising doctoral research students (including professional doctoral students) to develop teaching skills in their fields and to undertake a program of professional development activities during the course of their PhD candidature.

Applications for the 2009 Postgraduate Teaching Internship Scheme are now open, the deadline for receipt of applications is Monday 8th September 2008. The 2009 Guidelines and application proforma are accessible below.

The Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning will hold an information session on Friday 1st August from 9.30am-11am. Prospective Interns and Internship Supervisors are strongly encouraged to apply.
