UWA Teaching Scholars Program

 

The Teaching and Learning Policy Unit and the Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning introduced the UWA Teaching Scholars Program as a pilot in 2006. The Program is designed to extend the University's teaching development opportunities to those embarking upon an academic career.  Its focus upon first year teaching in particular assists in encouraging engagement around issues of transition, learning outcomes and the student experience.

 

 

Congratulations to the following people who have been appointed UWA Teaching Scholars:

 

  • 2nd Semester 2008, Mr Peter Spendlewinde, Centre of Excellence in Natural Resource Management
  • Ist Semester 2007, Mr Andrew Broertjes, School of Humanities

     

  • 2nd Semester 2006, Ms Hang Thu Vu, School of Civil and Resource Engineering
