Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT)

The Australian Awards for University Teaching, the most prestigious teaching awards in Australia, recognise outstanding university teaching programmes and individual teachers. University of Western Australia nominees are regularly shortlisted and / or recognised as the most outstanding candidates.

Each year, The University selects three nominees for these awards, with significant success.

Institutional Submissions to the AAUT (restricted to UWA access only)

The Awards recognise innovative institutional approaches to encouraging teaching and learning. The submissions for the last two years are available on this website as valuable models for programme innovation and evaluation.

In 2006, the awards will be known as the Carrick Awards for Australian University Teaching.
